PRE-PURCHASE INFO
The Phob is only compatible with
Official Nintendo branded adapters
Handheld Legend GC Pocket
Input Integrity Lossless adapters

Mayflash adapters are supported by Phob too but these adapters are poorly made and can malfunction. Slippi players will have less of an issue with these adapters but Ultimate players will experience dropped inputs. It's not recommended but will work if you can't find or afford other adapters.

-Phobs require some additional maintenance

  1. You may need to recalibrate the stick once a year. This is best done in Smashscope, which can be used in Dolphin emulator with limited functionality or a homebrewed Wii with a CRT.
  2. Since the stickboxes aren't reinforced with soldered potentiometers, the screws can become loose over time and will need to be tightened occasionally. The frequency will depend on your playtime and stick movement intensity.
