General
-The Phob is only compatible with Official Nintendo branded adapters, Handheld Legend GC Pocket, and Input Integrity lossless adapters.

-Mayflash adapters are supported by Phob too but these adapters are poorly made and can malfunction. Slippi players will have less of an issue with these adapters but Ultimate players will experience dropped inputs. It's not recommended but will work if you can't find or afford other adapters.

-Any calibration information you may need is here: https://github.com/PhobGCC/PhobGCC-doc/blob/main/For_Users/Phob_Calibration_Guide_Latest.md

-Your controller is already calibrated but you WILL need to perform a calibration every 1-2 months to keep your stick values consistent.

-It's highly recommended to have access to Smashscope. Smashscope on the Wii & CRT is ideal but you can also access it on PC. An in depth guide is incoming, but in the meantime, send me a message if you need help setting it up.

- You may need to tighten the stickbox screws on an infrequent basis. Here's a guide on the screwdrivers you will need.

-Holding AXYStart for 3 seconds will turn off safe mode. This means that you can accidentally input button commands that WILL change settings. So please be mindful of this if you use that button combination. I've had a few Ultimate players accidentally change their trigger mode.

-The sticks should be set to auto initialize but if you plug in your controller and the sticks don't work, try pressing B. Check out the calibration guide or shoot me a message to walk you through changing the setting.

-Turning off safe mode makes the sticks point to the top right corner. You will need to hold the button combo for 1-2 seconds before this happens.

-If you recalibrate the sticks, the auto initialize will be turned off. This can be turned back on if you want.

-If you have any issues with the stick drift or inconsistent inputs, message me and I'll walk you through troubleshooting steps. Worst case scenario is the controller will be sent to me to repair.

-I strive to offer the best customer service and support for my products. So reach out if anything malfunctions or if you have any questions!

SMASHSCOPE

Download Smashscope here

Calibrations are best done in Smashscope. It's ideal to use Smashscope on a Homebrewed Wii with a CRT but it can also be used on Dolphin.

-Smashscope is bugged for progressive scan displays on console, so a CRT TV is required if used on a Wii.

-Your control stick values will be accurate in Dolphin but the oscilloscope will not work due to polling issues.

-Make sure all emulated Wiimotes are set to "none" in Dolphin.

Proper GCC adapter setup for Melee

If you have issues with stick drift or delay on Dolphin, check these things:
-Check the adapter brand. The best adapters to have are the official Nintendo adapters or the Mayflash 4 port adapters. Unbranded adapters can cause issues.

-If using a Mayflash adapter, make sure it's in WIIU/Switch mode, not PC mode.

-Make sure your adapter is set up to use Dolphin's native controller support: https://www.smashladder.com/guides/view/26oz/controller-guide-2-0
Slippi automatically installs these drivers for you
